for employers

Temporary skills shortage (Subclass 482 TSS) Visas

This is a temporary visa for up to two or four years, depending on the occupation.  We can help your business to gain approval to sponsor overseas employees, nominate a skilled position and lodge the visa application for the employee.

There are labour market testing requirements, market salary requirements, and the employee must have a certain level of English.

A labour agreement may be more appropriate for your business, if you are considering sponsoring a large number of employees.  For some occupations, a labour agreement is the only way to sponsor employees for a subclass 482 TSS visa.

Skilled employer sponsored regional (Provisional Subclass 494 SESR) Visas

This is a five year provisional visa, with a pathway to permanent residence.

We can help your business to apply for approval as a business sponsor, nominate a skilled position in a designated regional area, as well as lodge the visa application for the worker.  Again, there are labour market testing requirements, market salary requirements (certified by a regional certifying body) and English language requirements. The  visa applicant must :

- be under 45 years of age, unless exemptions apply, and

- complete a skills assessment for their occupation.

Permanent (Employer Nomination) visas

We can help your business sponsor an employee for permanent residence. Your business must offer a full time position for at least 2 years. Again, there are market salary and English language requirements, and the applicant must be under 45 years of age, unless exemptions apply.

Your employee may be eligible for permanent residence if they have had their skills assessed by the relevant assessing body, or if they have been in Australia , working for your business in the nominated position for 3 years, on a Subclass 482 TSS visa.
